I have over 4 years of experience tutoring elementary school, high school and college students. I worked both as a teaching assistant during my time as an undergraduate at UCLA and as a private tutor during my time at Stanford University. My passion is not only to help my students succeed in their math courses, but also help them to develop and hone their long-term critical thinking skills. Due to my recent background as a student, and now a working professional, I can understand my students' mindset as they are struggling through solving problems. Too often do I hear stories about teachers, professors, and older tutors making concepts too complex for students to understand. One of the goals of my tutoring business is to be relatable to students, to put myself in the shoes of students and pinpoint their weaknesses. At the end of each tutoring session, I provide parents with constructive feedback about their child's performance, and I provide recommendations on how their child can improve outside of school and tutoring.
